Winter Knitting

I picked up knitting this winter, with buying a knitting book in November, with sufficient pictures for me to learn how to do the basic stitches:

And my friend pointed me to this pattern for handwarmers, which was an awesome pattern that I used to make a bunch of Christmas presents for friends and family. Yay! Those were fun, and honestly rather addicting as an activity for train-riding time.
